1. Who we are
ServicePulse FZC LLC ("the Company", "we", "us") is a UAE-registered free-zone company and the operator of PillarOne. The Company is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Registered office: Business Centre, Sharjah Publishing City Free Zone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. 2. What this covers
This policy applies to the PillarOne website and the PillarOne application (together, "the service").
3. Data we collect
- Account data you provide - your name, work email and organization name.
- Accounting data we access read-only - when you connect a provider (Xero, Zoho Books or QuickBooks), we access invoices and related records. These may contain personal data of your customers and suppliers, such as names, contact details and tax registration numbers.
- Encrypted connection tokens - issued by your provider when you authorize the connection.
- Website and usage data - including cookies and standard log information.
- Email addresses you submit to the deadline checker or readiness self-assessment.
4. How we use it
We use this data to run the PillarOne readiness validation, scoring, reports and monitoring; to operate, secure and support the service; and to communicate with you about the service.
5. Our role
For the accounting data we access on your behalf, you are the controller and the Company acts as your processor. For account data and website data, the Company is the controller.
6. Read-only
PillarOne connects with read-only access. We do not write to, change, transmit or file your data.
7. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:
- Sub-processors that help us run the platform (hosting, email, analytics) under contract;
- An FTA-accredited Service Provider (ASP), only when you choose to transmit, and only at your instruction;
- Authorities where we are legally required to do so.
8. Hosting and transfers
Customer data is UAE-hosted. Where a sub-processor operates outside the UAE, we apply appropriate safeguards for the transfer.
9. Security
We use read-only scopes, encryption in transit and at rest, token encryption (AES-256-GCM), tenant isolation and access controls to protect your data.
10. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. On disconnection or account closure, we delete the data, subject to any legal retention period that applies.
11. Your PDPL rights
Under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL), you have the right to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawing consent, and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at legal@pillarone.ae.
